This course will cover the basic ins and outs of Leptospirosis. What is Leptospirosis, Where is it found and How its spread. How the patient may present to the hospital, testing, diagnostics, clinical changes, and treatment.
The attendee would hopefully gain knowledge on this zoonotic disease, understand how to prevent the spread of Leptospirosis, successfully identify potentially infected patients based on appearance, vitals, history, clinical and diagnostic testing/changes. Learn what goes into treating Leptospirosis, while understanding the risks of handling and hospitalization.
