This lecture discusses the radiographic, contrast study, and ultrasonographic appearance of various causes of gastro-intestinal (GI) obstruction.
The attendees should gain knowledge and confidence in evaluating plain radiographs, contrast studies, and ultrasound of various GI diseases, concentrating on cases of obstruction that require surgical intervention or other diagnostics.
How to perform diagnostic quality positive contrast, negative contrast, and double contrast radiographic studies will be discussed.
Normal and abnormal ultrasonographic images will be included.
