ABOUT ABOUT

This month's talk is being presented by: Armond Keshishian, RVT

ABCs of ECC

Assessing critical patients and catering to their needs is an important skill as a veterinary team member. This talk aims to highlight some of the most common emergencies we see in our hospitals and what initial steps we can take to make sure we help them as best we can. Armond will outline how these patients present, how to monitor/stabilize them in the immediate aftermath of their illness and what outcomes can be expected.

What to expect:
-An overview of the 9 most common emergencies we see and how to differentiate their level of critical need.
-Discuss the best ways to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients in everyday hospital settings.
-Review skills & techniques to support career growth for veterinary team members.

A little bit about our speaker:

Armond is a skilled Veterinary Technician that has been in the specialty medicine realm since 2008. He joined the ASEC crew back in 2014 and has been instrumental in training and leading our emergency & critical care teams. He loves teaching and helping others to gain the proper skills to care for our patients in a compassionate way.
